All Roads Lead to Rome

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Common Core State Standards based Unit on Ancient Rome. Ancient Rome was an advanced civilization with one of the world's greatest centers of history, art, architecture, and religion. The values and intellectual development have had a vast impact on our world today. Students will learn about the past and how if affects the way we live and how it will continue to affect the future. This unit gives and overview of the role of the Roman society and the impact that the Roman model had on economy, transportation, communication, education, technology, government, and art.
